On March 10, the "Youth Talk" University Tour and the 2026 "Macao Youth Internship Programme" Promotion Conference were held at Xianlin Campus. A delegation led by Feng Fangdan, Director of the Civil Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and Chan Chi Wai, Deputy Director of the Labour Affairs Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region, attended the event. Wen Yu, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee, Director of the Publicity Department, and Director of the United Front Work Department, attended and delivered a speech.
Wen first briefed the guests on NJU's exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao, highlighting the development of the university's Hong Kong Institute of Advanced Studies. He expressed gratitude to the guests for providing valuable consultation and internship opportunities for NJU students, and for their efforts in advancing the university's collaboration with all sectors of Macao society.
Feng thanked NJU for its warm reception and thoughtful arrangements and provided an overview of the development of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. She hoped that this event would attract more outstanding young people to pursue internships, employment, and entrepreneurial ventures in Hengqin.
Chan noted that the Labour Affairs Bureau of Macao has consistently prioritized youth vocational education, internships, and employment, organizing a wide array of cultural exchange and experiential activities. He expressed his hope that the promotion conference would inform more Macao students studying away from Macao about the programme.
Li Hao, Director of the Student Affairs Office of Nanjing University, introduced NJU's student training initiatives, while Tang Jian, Deputy Director of the Career Guidance Center, outlined career guidance efforts.
That evening, a dedicated promotion conference for the "2026 Macao Youth Internship Programme" was held at the International Conference Center of the Xianlin Campus.
