Professor Hong Yinxing from Nanjing University Business School published an article titled "Four Dimensions of High-Quality Economic Development" in the first issue of Social Sciences in China in 2026. Focusing on the significant theme of "high-quality economic development" in the new era, the article systematically proposes and deeply argues the theoretical framework of the "four dimensions" of high-quality economic development. The article is rooted in the great practice of Chinese modernization, integrating theoretical logic with practical paths, and constructs an analysis system with Chinese characteristics and independent connotations, providing solid academic support for deepening research on Xi Jinping's Economic Thought and promoting China's high-quality economic development.
The first dimension is development that can well satisfy the people's growing needs for a better life, that is, a people-centered development philosophy. The second dimension reflects development guided by the new development philosophy. The third dimension focuses on the unprecedented global changes in a century and the new development pattern of the domestic super-large-scale market.
