On May 7, Tan Tieniu, Chair of Nanjing University CPC Council and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), attended the "Converge Intelligence, Ignite Future: 2026 Tsinghua Unigroup Innovation Summit" and delivered a speech. During the event, a signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement between NJU and Tsinghua Unigroup was held. Li Bin, Chairman of Tsinghua Unigroup, attended the event.

In his speech, Tan Tieniu pointed out that Tsinghua Unigroup is a globally competitive intelligent technology industry. In recent years, NJU has fully implemented the "Forging Ahead Initiative", achieving fruitful results in the transformation of scientific and technological innovations, talent cultivation, and school-enterprise cooperation. Tan Tieniu expressed that NJU has a deep-rooted and solid foundation for cooperation with Tsinghua Unigroup. He hopes that both parties will take this signing as an opportunity to further focus on joint platform construction, collaboratively create a benchmark for school-enterprise collaborative innovation, address difficult problems together, break through key core technology issues, and jointly cultivate talent, building an excellent talent training base. He looks forward to NJU and Tsinghua Unigroup moving forward side by side, together writing a new chapter in school-enterprise cooperation on the new journey of comprehensively advancing national rejuvenation through Chinese modernization.

Li Bin delivered a keynote report, providing an in-depth interpretation of Tsinghua Unigroup's strategic direction, industrial layout, innovation core, and cultural heritage. Li Bin pointed out that Tsinghua Unigroup has conducted a series of collaborations with NJU in many cutting-edge fields, accumulating a solid foundation for cooperation. He hopes that both parties will embark on a new journey of school-enterprise cooperation with this signing, achieving even more fruitful collaborative results. Tsinghua Unigroup will continue to work hand in hand with a wide range of scientific and technological workers to create a better future together.

Chen Yunsong, Deputy Chair of NJU CPC Council, and Xie Wei, Vice President of Tsinghua Unigroup and Director of the Frontier Technology Research Institute, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. NJU and Tsinghua Unigroup will jointly build a school-enterprise collaborative research platform, carry out cutting-edge technology research, promote special scientific and technological cooperation, and jointly cultivate top talents, contributing to the construction of a strong nation in education, technology, and talent.
