On April 14, Wu Xu, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Secretary of the Secretariat of the All-China Journalists Association (ACJA), led a delegation to conduct research at Nanjing University. Hu Liansheng, Deputy Minister of the Jiangsu Provincial Publicity Department; Zhou Yuemin, Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Journalists Association; and Chen Yunsong, Vice Chair of the University CPC Council, attended the meeting.

Wu Xu expressed gratitude for the warm reception from NJU. She introduced the basic situation and key work of the ACJA. She fully acknowledged NJU's solid foundation and significant advantages in international communication, civilization studies, and journalism education. She stated that the ACJA places great importance on deepening cooperation with NJU in areas such as building international communication capabilities, leveraging NJU's disciplinary strengths and the industry platform of the Association to jointly promote deeper exchanges and cooperation among Chinese and foreign journalist organizations.

Chen Yunsong welcomed Wu Xu and her delegation on behalf of the university. He introduced the main achievements of NJU in international communication and related disciplinary development, noting the vast potential for cooperation between NJU and the ACJA in academic research, talent cultivation, international communication, and journalism. He expressed hope that both sides would further expand cooperation and jointly explore new models of collaborative innovation in the field of journalism, contributing NJU's strength to telling the story of China and Jiangsu.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions about future cooperation directions and forms.
During the research visit, Wu Xu and her delegation also visited the University History Museum and the Jinling University architectural complex to learn about the evolution of NJU's history, educational philosophy, and achievements over different periods.
Officials from the ACJA, Xinhua Daily Media Group, and relevant departments and colleges of NJU participated in the research symposium.
