On the afternoon of March 1, the themed education event "New Ideas Gravitational Field," hosted by the Education Work Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and organized by Nanjing University, held a special sharing session at the Yongman Pavilion Lecture Hall at the Xianlin Campus of NJU. Jiang Yong, Director of Jiangsu Education Department, Party Secretary, and Secretary of the Education Work Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC; Zhao Jinsong, Deputy Minister of the Publicity Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC, and Director of the Provincial Government Information Office; and Xu Feng, Deputy Secretary of the the Education Work Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC and Deputy Director of Jiangsu Education Department (at the Director level), attended the event. Tan Zhemin, President of NJU and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Tan Zhemin; and Chen Yunsong, Vice-Chair of NJU CPC Council participated in the event.
The themed education event commenced with a video revisiting the important spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's reply letter, as teachers and students witnessed the official launch of the "New Ideas Gravitational Field" themed education event.
The event specially invited five experts and scholars: Guo Zijian, Academician of the CAS, Professor of Chemistry at NJU; Professor Du Lingjie from NJU School of Physics, Professor Li Chuan from the School of Astronomy and Space Science, Professor Lu Andong from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, and Associate Professor Zong Huawei from the School of International Studies. They shared their practices and insights on serving the country and people, and scientific innovation, centered on learning and implementing the important spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's reply letter to NJU young scholars returning from overseas study. Representatives of university and high school students from within the province participated.

This session marked the first lecture of the "New Ideas Gravitational Field" themed education event. In the future, the series of themed education activities will leverage the leading role of excellent presentation teams such as the NJU Ph.D. lecturer group, connecting with youth presentation forces across provincial universities, continuously reaching into primary, secondary, and grassroots schools, promoting the rooting and flourishing of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era among young students, gathering youthful energy for advancing the new practice of Chinese modernization in Jiangsu.
