As the Spring Festival approaches, Xin Changxing, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee visited Mo Lifeng, Director of the Provincial Institute of Literature and History and a University Distinguished Professor in Humanities and Social Sciences at Nanjing University. He conveyed New Year greetings on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Government.
Professor Mo Lifeng is renowned for his profound academic achievements in the field of Chinese classical literature. Xin Changxing engaged in an in-depth conversation with Mo Lifeng, reviewing the newly compiled Three Hundred Nanjing Poems by Mo and his colleagues. Mo Lifeng explained that, besides supervising students, he dedicates most of his time to popularizing classical masterpieces and promoting traditional culture. Xin Changxing praised this work as highly significant and expressed his hope that Professor Mo would continue to produce research that bridges the past and present, bringing traditional culture to life and ensuring its legacy.
During the visit, Xin Changxing emphasized that advancing the new practice of Chinese modernization in Jiangsu provides a broad stage for talents to innovate and thrive. He urged all levels and departments across the province to coordinate the construction of various talent teams, build development platforms, and create an environment conducive to talent emergence, optimal use, and full utilization, allowing everyone to work comfortably and live happily in Jiangsu.
