On October 29, the Double Ninth Festival, which also marked the 100th birthday of retired professor Chen Rongsan from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University. Jiao Ruihua, Deputy Chair of NJU CPC Council, visited Professor Chen Rongsan's home to convey festival wishes and birthday congratulations.

During the visit, Jiao Ruihua cordially inquired about Professor Chen Rongsan's health condition and daily life, and expressed gratitude for his efforts and contributions to NJU's discipline construction, talent cultivation, and chemical research. Jiao Ruihua presented flowers to Professor Chen and a specially prepared centennial commemorative photo album, sincerely wishing Professor Chen continued happiness, longevity, good health, peace, and to witness together with all NJU members the continued brilliance of NJU's chemistry discipline on its new journey.

Zhu Chengjian, Party Secretary of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Wu Heng, Director of the Retirement Affairs Office  accompanied the visit.
