On July 16, the signing ceremony for the Insta360 & NJU Suzhou Joint Innovation Lab was held in Suzhou. Liu Xiaotao, Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, and Suo Wenbin, and Vice President of Nanjing University, met with Liu Jingkang, founder and Chairman of Arashi Vision Inc., and jointly witnessed the signing of the laboratory agreement. Mao Wei, Deputy Mayor of Suzhou, and Jiang Tian, Assistant President of NJU and Executive Deputy Director of the Suzhou Campus Management Committee, signed the agreement on behalf of the Suzhou Municipal Government and Nanjing University, respectively.
Founded in 2015 by Liu Jingkang, alumni of the Software Institute of NJU, Arashi Vision Inc., specializes in the R&D and sales of panoramic cameras, action cameras, and professional-grade intelligent imaging equipment. It is a global leader in the intelligent imaging field, holding the top market share in the global panoramic camera market for six consecutive years.
To further promote integrated innovation in industry, education, and research, Arashi Vision Inc., has signed a cooperation agreement with NJU and the Suzhou Municipal Government to jointly promote the establishment of the Insta360 & NJU Suzhou Joint Innovation Lab in Suzhou. This collaboration aims to fully leverage technological strengths of Arashi Vision Inc., and NJU's research capabilities, utilizing local resources in Suzhou to focus on areas such as AI vision and image processing. The partnership will prioritize the application and transformation of core capabilities in AI image processing and anti-shake technology, striving to create landmark innovative achievements. On the same day, Insta360's East China R&D Center and the Innovation Product Scenario Application Base project were also signed. According to the agreement, the East China Regional Headquarters of Arashi Vision Inc., will be located in Kunshan, Suzhou, where it will incubate and implement new business segments, engaging in the R&D and sales of intelligent imaging and other innovative products to accelerate the aggregation of elements along the industrial chain.
