On the morning of July 3, the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement between China Jiangsu International Economic and Technical Cooperation Group, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Jinagsu International Group") and Nanjing University was held on Xianlin Campus. Tan Zhemin, President of NJU and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Song Qinbo, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Jiangsu International Group attended the event.

Witnessed by Tan Zhemin and Song Qinbo, Suo Wenbin, Vice President of NJU, and Tu Yaxing, Deputy General Manager of China Jiangsu International Group, signed the strategic cooperation agreement.


Song Qinbo introduced the Group's history, core business areas, industrial layout, and development plans. He reviewed the fruitful collaboration between the two sides in talent development, industrial research, and technological innovation. Song emphasized that China Jiangsu International Group will spare no effort in completing the related construction tasks under this strategic cooperation and will actively advance the partnership to achieve deeper and more practical results. He expressed his gratitude to NJU for its trust and looked forward to jointly write a new chapter of mutually beneficial university-enterprise collaboration.

Suo Wenbin expressed his gratitude to China Jiangsu International for its long-standing support and care for the university. He emphasized that the university is accelerating its efforts to build a world-class institution with Chinese characteristics by implementing the "Forging Ahead Initiative". Suo stated that this agreement represents a key step in exploring collaborative innovation between universities and enterprises. NJU looks forward to working with China Jiangsu International to jointly build a model safe campus, deepen industry-university-research collaboration, seize the high ground of technological innovation, and contribute to the great cause of national rejuvenation.

The signing ceremony was hosted by Assistant President Li Bin. Leaders and representatives from relevant departments of both sides attended the signing ceremony.
