From November 2 to 3, Nanjing University and the Information Archive of Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee co-hosted "Marxism and Chinese Modernization: The 4th International Conference on Marxist Literature Collections and Studies". Tan Zhemin, President of Nanjing University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and Ji Zhengju, Vice-Director of the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee and Director of Central Compilation and Translation Bureau attended the conference and delivered speeches.
Tan pointed out that NJU has always been a stronghold of Marxist research in China, and he looked forward to further strengthening cooperation and exchanges with domestic and international academic institutions, thus advancing global Marxist studies and promoting cultural exchanges and mutual learning.
Ji expressed his warm congratulations to the convening of the conference. He emphasized that this conference will improve the development of Marxist literature collections and tell China's story in an academic way.
This conference was held on the 20th anniversary of the Marxist Theory Research and Construction Project and the 10th anniversary of the Marxist Literature Collection Project. Experts and scholars from both China and abroad engaged in in-depth discussions on Marxism and the Chinese path to modernization, and achieved rich results.
