The finals of the FPGA Innovation Design Track of the 2025 National College Student Embedded Chip and System Design Competition successfully concluded in Nanjing on November 30. Our participating teams achieved outstanding results, winning 5 national first prizes, 3 national second prizes, and 4 national third prizes. Additionally, they were awarded the Best Engineering Award, the AMD Cup, and the Anlu Technology Cup. A paper from one of the teams competing in the international track was recommended for the IEEE FPT conference. Nanjing University was honored with the Outstanding Organization Award in recognition of its excellent organization and exceptional performance.

The outstanding performance in this FPGA Innovation Design Track reflects the achievements of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Electronic Information (Nanjing University) in implementing a tripartite collaborative education system in recent years, featuring “experimental courses, disciplinary competitions, and innovation training”. This system is dedicated to cultivating students’ practical abilities and innovative spirit, continuously enhancing the comprehensive competencies of undergraduates and their capacity to solve complex engineering problems.
